Common Bond

A Credit Union is a non-profit making, self help financial co-operative formed and run by people who have a common bond.

Each credit union is governed by a Common Bond, that of the Harp and Crown is Serving and Retired Police Officers of the PSNI/RUC, Harbour Police, Airport Police; NI Police Fund staff; PRRT staff, Newforge Sports Complex staff; and other UK/Irish Police Services where an applicant is now resident in Northern Ireland; and Civilian Support Staff paid by PSNI payroll; along with immediate relatives of members (no longer have to be of same household).
