Throwback Thursday to May when we visited the Scottish Police Credit Union in Baillieston for staff training!
Interesting fact: Lynsey McWhinnie, Deputy CEO (pictured) gave us a tour of their HQ, which was originally a police sub office in the 1940s!
Lynsey is pictured outside the old kitchen area where prisoners’ meals were prepared. The cells would have been beside this, before renovations took place in 1995. There’s more to the story, if you ever have the pleasure to hear it from the great CEO himself, George Nedley!
We’re really looking forward to seeing the Scottish team later today in Belfast, ahead of our Staff Development Day tomorrow!
