Financial Awareness Workshop

It's Debt Awareness Week and no better time to announce that we will be hosting our first Financial Awareness Workshop in April.

We've teamed up with Community Advice Ards and North Down CAAND (formerly known as Citizens Advice) to host an evening of informative and expert advice around crucial issues such as debt avoidance, debt help and debt repayments.  The Harp and Crown team will also be there to provide savings advice and tips for you and your family. 

  • When? Tuesday 25th April from 7pm – 8.15pm with a Q and A session opportunity included.

  • Where? Newforge Sports Complex (new building) with free parking available on site.

  • Community Advice Ards and North Down (CAAND) helps people resolve many problems including debt, employment, tax, relationship and consumer issues, and more.  They have worked with the wider police family in Northern Ireland for over 10 years (inclusive of the RUCGC and PSNI Benevolent Fund).  More information on their services can be found here.

  • This event is exclusive to Harp and Crown Credit Union members only 18 years+.

  • Prize draw:  all Harp and Crown Credit Union members (18 years old and over) attending will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a £100 deposit into their Harp and Crown CU savings account.

  • Tea and coffee will be provided.

  • Maximum event numbers 25.

  • A schedule of topics and speakers will be confirmed soon.
